Members of the Community Service Club of New Fairfield are busy from September until June of every year. The signature project is the Kids Dress for Success Program, but our efforts go far beyond that. Here is a sampling of the projects that members are involved in nearly all year long.
A Signature Project of the Community Service Club is to ready students who are eligible for school, including outfits, outwear, pajamas and school supplies.
Healing Hands Quilters
Healing Hands Quilters group have made a grand total of 2,926 quilts for cancer patients.
Save Our Soaps
Members save same sized soaps, lotions, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, etc and bring them to Dorothy Day for those who have unstable housing.
Dorothy Day
Lunch is sometimes on us! Members of the CSC make up sandwishes and donate snacks for lunches at Dorothy Day.
Giving To Others Campaign
During the 2023-24 year, the CSC celebrated 40 years. Every month we featured a Giving to Others Campaign.
Festival of Trees
The CSC makes a tree for Ann's Place for their Festival of Trees fundraiser.
