Members of the Community Service Club of New Fairfield are busy from September until June of every year. The signature project is the Kids Dress for Success Program, but our efforts go far beyond that. Here is a sampling of the projects that members are involved in nearly all year long.
A Signature Project of the Community Service Club is to ready students who are eligible for school, including outfits, outwear, pajamas and school supplies.
Healing Hands Quilters
As of February 2026, Healing Hands Quilters have made a grand total of 3,077 quilts and donated them with love to the Praxair Cancer Center to comfort patients receiving treatment.
Save Our Soaps
Members save same sized soaps, lotions, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, etc and bring them to Dorothy Day for those who have unstable housing.
Dorothy Day
Lunch is sometimes on us! Members of the CSC make up sandwishes and donate snacks for lunches at Dorothy Day.
Festival of Trees
The CSC makes a tree for Ann's Place for their Festival of Trees fundraiser.
Regional Hospice
CSC members attend the Giving Circle Breakfast to help support services.
