Fundraisers
Making the New Fairfield Community a better place takes more than volunteer time. It takes money. Throughout the year, the Club holds multiple fundraisers to fulfill its mission. The New Fairfield community is generous and for that, members and the recipients of our efforts, are thankful.
The Community Service Club of New Fairfield sells Butter Braid pastries that leave your mouth waterings. Products are a selection of pastries, cake rolls and cookie dough.
Bake Sales have been held at Stop & Shop to benefit nonprofits. The Flying for Hope Bake Sale was held on April 18, 2026, to benefit the Corporate Angel Network that helps cancer patients travel to treatment centers. In 2025, the Baked for Hope bake sale benefited the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge.
Our Crafting Day is a favorite in town. Crafters from around the area come for a half or full day to make their favorite crafts, meet up with old and new friends and have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Each year dates are published in the Town Tribune, on Facebook and the Home Page of the website.
Junk in the Trunk is a community tag sale where community members rent a space to set up their collections of household items they no longer need and sell them to others who find them to be treasures. Check the Town Tribune, Facebook and home page of the website for correct dates.
The Lyman Orchard Pie Sale offers apple, blueberry, strawberry rhubarb, bumbleberry, chocolate peanut, pumpkin, banana cream and chocolate cream pies to your table just in time for the holidays.
The Mother's Day Plant Sales offers Begonias, petunias, fuchsias, Ivy Geraniums, Impatiens, dahlias and more in hanging baskets, planters and assorted flats.
The Community Service Club hosts one of the biggest Selling Your Old Gold fundraisers in New Fairfield. Dates change every year, so check out the Town Tribune, Facebook and home page of the website for most current dates.
